• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Steering Problem

Took the old Spyder for a ride yesterday and noticed on three different time it felt like the power steering quit working for a moment - after I finally jerked it to stay on the road it seems to wok fine. Almost feels like the tire was in a groove.

Anyone else having this problem? it was fine last Fall!

Yup - many of us have had steering lock from DPS failure.

Mine was due to a failed gear position sensor that BRP has upgraded. Go into your dealer and have them perform this warranty update right away.

Yes. Four times for me.
1) Changed the power steering unit
2) tightened a ground wire
3) changed gear position sensor
4) changed power steering unit.

As much as I love this bike if it happens again its a gonner.

Search the threads Gear Position Sensor and you will find lots of wonderful info. I had mine replaced and it works great.
