Steering Feel

I was doing my 12k service and noticed that with the :spyder2: in the
air when you turn the handle bars I can feel a " notchyness" when you
turn the bars either direction. Is this normal?
I'ved had my RS in the air several times and I never noticed this.
I'm not having any steering problems on the road.
Just curious if this is normal or not.

This was my first sign... than the DPS failed.

It's normal.....you're just turning the armature in the power steering motor, and feeling that resistance since the engine isn't running.
