• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Stebel or Bad Boy Horn

Has anyone successfully installed a Stebel or Bad Boy Horn on an St? Every vendor I have talked to says there isn't room. Gotta be someplace it will fit. All help greatly appreciated!

It will fit on the right side, just behind the coolant. Cut and drill a short metal strap, to hang it. Remember it should be mounted vertical. I used the relay, and wired everything so the original still works also. REMEMBER the horn button makes the ground connection, not the hot connection.
Good luck,
Roger

At Spyderfest last year, Spyder Pops installed a Bad Boy on my RT on the left side and it was very quick - no problem at all. He does not use a relay and said he has had no problems. It's been almost a year and mine has worked great. I don't know the details of how it was mounted.

It will ....

I installed the bad boy on my RS in the same location as the oem horn was . It was a snug fit and only used zip's to hold it in place but you can attach it other ways. I have only one picture at the moment, tablet died with all the pictures, but if you go to my profile and on the left side go down to "mods #3" there is one there...I believe the ST has the same horn location...
