Stealth, the movie

[Mad Matt]

The Airplane in the Movie Stealth was based on a design by Mad Matt: The Hollywood artists spiffed it up quite a bit. I remember I only had 1 day to do the drawings of this plane for the patent so it did not have very much detail. The objective of the design was just to create something in order to patent the switch blade wing concept.

I was just looking around and it's kewl to see it has taken on a life of it's own. There are several posts in R/C model groups about this Northrop switchblade. I was just reminded of it this morning when I got an email from my wife's uncle with pictures of the plane saying it is a new Navy prototype, which it is not of course. It's funny to see all the public mis-information.

I always find these funny. I found a UFO website once with a bunch of pictures of airplanes I have designed. They got them all from the USPTO website. Apparently I have been colaborating with aliens, according to the website.
