• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

States Visited maps??

:ohyea:
I'm not allowed out of the Tri State area, [nj/pa/ny] So i don't need a State Map. :roflblack:
Seriously though i noticed some people skip a state,
How do they get from one state to another with out going through an adjoining state?:dontknow:

An honest trailer hauler Me Thinks!

We have a map in the bike room that shows the routes of the rides and the date. Every once in a while we like to look at the map and revisit a journey.

Haven't hit enough Spydee states to get a map going here...

Spyder states for me, but I have another question for the group.

Does it count if you just drive through and only stop for gas?

Had a discussion with someone about these maps that many of us are using and an interesting question came up..... what is your criteria for saying you've ridden in a particular state?

Is it on your Spyder only?
QUOTE]

Yup, mine is Spyder Rydes only. Skipped states are when I trailer my Spydie through the snow to Florida (Arizona next year). Can't quite justify snow tyres yet :roflblack:

If you're riding your Spyder, sure, why not? If you have to cover, visit and occupy every inch of a state to qualify there wouldn't be much point.

Spyder Only! The ones on our map are the states that Kjen and I have traveled on our SE5 since we bought it on 11-18-2008. We all have our different ideas, but to us, this is a Spyder forum, so we keep it Spyder related.
Last summer is when we traveled into 34 states
plus Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia in 7.5 weeks.
