There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Statefarm Insurance

That's the issue. They've been caught numerous times not fulfilling contracts...QUOTE]
I wasn't going to say anything about this issue since I'm competing directly against them... BUT :agree:

Since somebody else has seen this I'm not sitting on my hands quietly. Find an Agent and a Company that you can trust!

I personally think that everyone needs to periodically get quotes from your insurance company's competitors.

After using SF for over 20 years for auto and home, I obtained quotes two years ago from several top-tier competitors. I was shocked at how much cheaper the alternatives were.

My home-owners insurance dropped from $1700/year to $800... same coverage. My SUV coverage dropped from $900 to $500... same coverage. My two bikes dropped from $600 to $250... again, same coverage.

That's my $0.02. .

I agree but if you live in Fla. not much to choose from as far as homeowners ins. Many companies have pulled out and the State sponsored insurance does not have a good track record for payouts.

With SF I at least get discounts and have checked with GEICO and Progessive and they are way more expensive.

Beaver - I don't believe $68 either. Did you miss a digit when typing? Can you post a scan of your policy cost page? I just submitted an on-line quote request to Foremost.

State Farm Insurance

I've had SF for over 40 years for homes cars and life ins. as well as an umbrella policy. After several accidents including a five car pile up in the motor home on I95 in NC with three uninsured cars having been hit by a state vehicle where the state refused to pay and my wife's accident where a child was killed and we were sued for 1 million dollars they came through for us, proving she was not at fault. When my wife passed away 14 months ago from breast cancer they were there quickly to get me the life insurance money to cover the funeral. Several times over the 40+ years I've threatened to find another company and did talk with other agents and got quotes but SF came through and made things right. Insurance rates and the level of service varies from State to State and with the State agencies that control them. Some times with any large corporation you have to assert yourself, know your rights and know what the law or various state and federal agencies regulations are. Yes, there are times when you even have to resort to legal action to wake them up. Most important you have to keep calm, try to work with them for a reasonable time and document and record everything , then take the steps needed to force their hand if you don't get a reasonable conclusion.

I have State Farm for all my vehicles, home etc - When my Spyder burned up they were fast and very fair in my settlement. I had a pipe burst in my attic a couple weeks ago and they have been first class to deal with. Great company.

Hey, Roy' Bassetts. You are right that my John Deere ATV was built by BRP. they were built for JD in 2005 & 2006. Don't know why they stopped. It is Rotax powered and is a great work tool and super trail machine. I use it a lot on the farmette. If the Spyder is half the machine it may outlive me.

tofriendscreek I think they quit because of low sales, I had a 06 also, love it. Got a 08/800 outlander now, wife has a 500/09 oudlander.

I have Geico $552.00 yearly.

Hey Beaver! You did write $68.00 for the year. Or is that a typo? Did you mean $68.00 a month maybe? If that is correct I'd say you have found yourself a gold nugget or something extraordinary!! DO NOT TALK TO YOUR AGENT ABOUT THIS. He will probably find his mistake!! :lecturef_smilie:

IT DOESN`T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS

Hi, i just sent to Lamonster my Ins policy copy front page.
That makes a LOT more since... As I posted earlier.. It depends on the coverage.

Our State Minimums are 25,000/50,000/10,000 (Max LIA per person/Max LIA per Incident/Max property coverage if we are at fault) and that is over double your coverage. And this minimum coverage amount was introduced in the 70's for this state.

I also see no Comp/Coll/UM/IM/PIP/Towing etc...

In the end we get what we pay for and pay for what we want the Insurance Companies to accept as a risk for a certain amount of premium. The rest is up to our pockets.

So in this situation... If you hit a $15,000 car and total it... You get to see the max $0.00 paid by Foremost and you get to write a check for $15,000 to make that situation whole. Or even a $5000 vehicle and do $1000 in damage, you get to write a check for $1000... :dontknow: And do not get me started on loss of work and injury... That $10,000 per person will be spent in the ambulance ride to the hospital and the emergency room.

To be honest I've never seen a policy that insured for less than 100,000 per person. At 10,000 you can pretty much figure you'll be out of pocket way more than what you saved but if you're okay with that risk then that's cool.

:agree:  You're getting exactly what you're paying for... Having been in the business of selling insurance for over 30 years I've got to ask you a question: If you're in an accident and it's your fault and somebody gets hurt really bad... How much can you afford to lose? Do you have assets that you've worked a lifetime for that will now need to be sold to pay for somebody else's injuries or damages???
Call your Agent and discuss this!!:lecturef_smilie:
