• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It's good to hear that you were able to help them out a bit!
Hopefully, it'll give you a chip in the game that you never need to use!

when i talked to them, they told me a well equiped rts with all the lights and horns n sirens, radios and such, totaled about $40,000..this included the price of the bike. so i would like to see what a bike with 40k in accessories looks like, it should fuel it self and also drive it self, write the tickets and not need a driver...

My biggest concern when working traffic with a Spyder is the amount of time it takes to start the Spyder from turn of the key to being able to hit the starter, put it gear and take off in pursuit of the violator. Most motor cops turn their bikes off when working radar for various reasons. The 6-10 seconds it takes to start and get in gear could be a big problem.:(

I would guess the 40 K includes Spyder price. Electronics cost. ,How about 1200 for radio/cb on on the Spyder ?I paid $90.00 for a
very bright yellow light on the back of the Spyder and $120.00 or so for a pair of them on the front. PGR Escorts. Look me me up at Spyderfeast. I hope to make it. The TV always show the dramatic chase, but the the radio does a lot more to get a felon.

Markups by emergency lighting and siren companies is HUGE. Radio companies and the installers also mark up prices the minute any governmental agency shows up. We haven't even touched the price of LIDAR and other associated costs. On the note of quick starting, BRP would disable the safety button. Every other car company has done similar (ESP traction control, etc) Im sure if you had a waiver and a dollar to wave.. They'd make other changes too. :)

Made some calls today and learned the $40,000 was a typo. I also confirmed what I suspected. The RT hasn't held up very well as a police vehicle.

Just think when they turn on all the toys the battery will die out. So what you think will do when they have to jump start the all the time. 650 emt will not take all that toys turn on at once, DOD when they turn key off???
