ok folks i made it to cherokee any one here want to get dinner or is there even anything open ? 270-293-3401

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

You probably found out the reality, the only good dinner places in Cherokee are in the Casino. There is absolutely nothing after 9:00 other than fast food except for the Casino.
Peter's Pancakes is the best breakfast spot, lunch is a place called Sassy Sunflowers has good, healthy lunch but dinner is a crap shoot outside Harrahs.
If you don't mind a short ride then Kostas in Dillsboro is really good for lunch or dinner.

Maybe too late to help, but LULU's in Sylvia is great, and only about 25 minutes from Cherokee. A great ride would be to eat lunch at LULU's in Sylvia, then take 107 to Cashiers, then in Cashiers go east to Brevard, and then take 276 N over the mountains, to the Blue Ridge and it will take you back to Cherokee, or stay on 276 and you'll end up in Waynesville they have plenty of restaurants.

if you like BBQ, The Dillsboro Smokehouse is a great choice.
for good Prime Ribs, try Bogart's (2 locations: Waynesville & Sylva)
