• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Starting my Christmas List, what are you asking Santa for your Ryde?

Under extreme threat of pain and death, I have been told not to buy anything for the new bike before the holidays. So I have been compiling a wish list goodies to add to the bike. One of the things I would really like to add is a driver backrest and this is where the confusion starts to set in. It looks like there are three versions that fit the RT, with similar model numbers: 41-158, 41-168 and 41-168A. It looks like the difference between the 158 and 168 is the size of the backrest, and I'm all for the larger one (168). Not sure about the "A" variant though. One seems to be listed as Removable, one doesn't mention that. Anybody installed one of these and have an opinion on it?

I'm also asking for the extended brake pedal, a shorty antenna to replace the big ungainly whip, and parts for for a ram mount cup holder.

So what's on your list? :doorag:

You have time....

to figure it out. I think one was not adjustable and then there are some nice ones aftermarket that work great and may leave you some change to get a few more items under the tress...

I've got one of those. I went with the larger pad and really like it. It is adjustable in height and forward position. It pivots downward for the passenger to get on/off easier.

Sad to say it, but I think I have enough Spyder and motorcycle stuff to last me. I am farkled to where I am satisfied with all the rides. I hope this does not mean I am catching something? :roflblack::roflblack:

And so far..."Humbug" is not even in my thoughts.

i have all that i want and the only thing i ever want for the holidays is krispy kreme donuts that my sister in law brings with her
when she comes to ny from ga.

A new set of black leather riding gloves would be nice. Full finger that is. The ones I have now are 15 yrs old and about seen better days. But they are well broken in and I hate to give them up. And go with the larger back rest. You won't regret it get the one that folds down.
