• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Starting issue with a 2014 RT L

I went to start my Spyder the normal way, and after pressing the starter switch it didn't even click or crank like the battery was dead. After releasing the brake and then attempting to start did it come to life. So Major Spyder tried starting his 14 RT L, It did the same thing.
Just checking to see if anyone else experienced this.

If you park your bike, and leave it in neutral; you don't have to apply the brake in order to start it...
Besides; the engagement clutch Is disengaged, so leaving it in gear does nothing at all. :D

Have never had that happen. I have on a couple of occasions when bundled up for a winter ride accidentally bumped the kill switch, not enough to fully throw it but enough to break the circuit, and Spyder wouldn't turn over. Quick visual check showed problem.

The bike was in neutral, I just released the parking brake and it started when I pushed the switch.

I have had that happen to me, but the" kill switch" was hit by mistake. My spyder was in "Neutral" and the spyder started. Deanna
