Starting in Neutral Only

I cannot start my RTS in any gear except neutral. It started in any gear as long as the clutch was in when I got it three months ago. Stopped starting in any gear last week. Any suggestions before I take it back to dealer?

My RT SE5 will start in any gear as long as I have my foot on the brake. I can start it without the brake depressed only when in neutral. Does the SM5 also require the brake to start out of neutral?

Are you depressing the brake pedal, while pressing the start button?

The lever on the clutch switch is easily snagged and bent out of place. Carefully try to adjust it, or take it to the dealer and have him take care of it.
