• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

started a new post for the fender lights.

such a nice day but i stayed home for reasons i will not bother you with. anyway, i cleaned the shed out today and gave myself some room to work on the bike again, the top of the fenders not sitting right got to me. so between running in and out of the house for the reason i stayed home, i found out what was my problem.

i pulled the wheels and got the tops of the fenders off, i cut slots so the wires would pass where the instructions said to drill holes, but that was not the problem. i am also using the lights as directional' s also and you need the converter sold by tric to do this. each fender has two converters, one for each light on the fender. now, the fenders have mounting bolts from inside the wheel fender to the mounting frame for it. where i put the converters for the lights was just above this bracket, so that is what was holding the top piece off the fender. i moved the converters and the job is done.

taking a brake now and than going to pull the head lights for the led's i am going to install.

Ouch..!!

They like you buying converters. You only need one converter per fender. The output (red and black wire) can drive all the lights.

Doc, I think he only used one converter on each fender. He bought a pair. Right, Cuz?

sorry if i am confusing anyone on how i am saying it. each converter comes with two heat shrunk connectors in the kit. out of each heat shrink there are 1 red 12v constant hot - one white 12v to a positive turn signal wire - one black for ground and a yellow that goes to the LED with a ground, i was told that if i am using both the fender top led's and the rear fender led i need a kit for each fender. so that is what i bought @ 49.95 a piece. this is what the site says
Add an optional blinker and you can have your amber or entire fender flash as a turn signal.

Your fenders will blink opposite of your roadster.

$49.95/pair

this is the diagram that comes with the blinker kit. i hope this makes sense

No, Cuz, you wasted $49.95. You only need one pair @ $49.95 to power both the red and amber lights on the fenders and to have them operate as turns.
