There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I reckon that if I hadta wear one of them on a hostile insertion, I'd want something with a helluva lot more punch than a pistol on that stabilised mount!! nojoke
It might only take 3 seconds from feet down to weapons drawn, but it's not exactly silent on the approach and there's all that time you'd need to approach and then land safely before you even get a chance to pick up any other weapon, let alone take yet another 3 seconds to get it up and engage a target!! :yikes:

Im not sure im strong enough in the arms to drive one of those.
A Helo and fast rope is not that quiet.
If it turns to crap when you deploy at least you have a door gunner available to cover your arse till you get yourself sorted weapons ready.
