• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ST owners, I need a favor if possible.

I was wondering if one of you ST owners who may have your rear panels off soon could please take a few pics for me of the foot peg supports on the bike, How they attach to the frame, and how the exhaust attaches to the rear of the support, and if there is a rear support that attaches to the frame to support the passenger footpeg.

I have been studying a few of the parts diagrams and believe that the ST side footpeg/floorboard setup will bolt onto a RSS model. But I need to see these areas to make sure, my local dealer has a ST in stock, but I need to see one with the tupperware removed. To me it looks like can am is using the same driver footpeg support attachment for all models, and the RSS Footpeg support numbers are the same between an 12 and 13 model year. I did notice that the exhaust mounts differently, but that is only a minor issue.

The only problem is I havent seen a set of footpeg supports off an ST show up on Ebay yet, and its an expensive part to order, and not be sure if it'll fit correctly.

Try this..!!

at cheapcycleparts.com they have break downs of all parts involved. If the part numbers are the same you should be able to make the change. You also get a good view of the parts. Sorry mine is an RS so pics woundn't help...

That is where i have been going over the parts. Of course numbers wont be the same, except i did cross reference the 2012 and 2013 RSS, than the ST, same part number for the driver pegs as i mentioned, so those would interchange. I just need to see if there is an additional rear support. I know the 2012 RT has a rear support that also holds on the rear saddlebags.

This is a cool adventure and I've wondered the same on occasion.
Seems like it would be a really clean way for RS owners to run OEM boards!
