• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ST Limited tie downs

Another question for ST riders. (this could probably relate to any Spyder). Looking for something, straps, cargo netting, etc. that can be used to tie down bags, boxes etc. on the seat behind the rider. I bought some adjustable cargo netting last year and it's not going to work, the hooks or clips aren't wide enough to grab the side grips and there isn't anything else in the back to grab on to.

Bungees with metal hooks can be bent more open to hook on the passenger grips. Hard to find because most are plastic now. When I take my crutches with me I use double sided velcro. That works very well.

Another thought. Maybe the cargo netting you got will work with reusable zip ties.

JP Cycles has square 6 hook square netting things they work great and are pretty cheap. I think I got 2 for $5.99, they stretch and are easy to hook on. You'll love them.

Ive done a small cargo net from a truckstop wrapped the hooks under passenger grips & back to itself ImageUploadedByTapatalk1454803919.562423.jpgdidnt sacrifice much length to do so. Ive swapped out now for a more functional & lockable sissybar bag from Rivico

Use straps. There's a weak point where bungee cord and the hook merge.

ROK straps are very robust. May take a few more seconds to secure, but worth it safety wise.

I should add my redneckself has found ways to strap down crazy stuff if there is a need

YOu can use your original netting that you bought...
Just make yourself up some nylon loops, that you can throw around the grab-rail when needed. You can then attach the netting to them, and save the scratches from becoming part of your bike! nojoke

Just cut off the bungie net plastic hooks and make new ones out thin metal rod. (little bigger the coat hanger wire). Now fashion the hooks to any shape you want to fit what you are hooking the net to.

Retal hooks on the grips may scratch some rubber off better to just loop thru & hook to itself

& fit bigger or multiple hooks

I wasn't there but I still care! POW /MIA VETS
