• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ST front spring question

I was looking and could not see any preload adjusters on the front springs:banghead:
I usually like mine cranked up a bit.
Will the front end be too soft?

I understand but how can it be near perfect for everyone.
My friend is 100 lbs and I am on the bigger side of 250.

Are we going to have to change the springs?

It was explained to me that when the geometry changed the need for preload adjustment was not needed. Not sure why or how it works but that's what I was told.

When the shock was laid down in the front, it took more movement from the suspension to move the shock; the spring rate and preload were more important.
Now that they've stood it up; the suspension travel is now more directly tied to the shock travel.
This kind of de-emphasizes the importance of spring preload and spring rate a little bit...
