There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. St. Augustine: OK or tourist trap?

I'd like to do a weekend trip from Georgia to Florida. St. Augustine is just inside the 250-mile radius I'm allowed to travel without approval from the military.

I like medieval arms and armor, so I'd definitely want to visit Castillo de San Marcos.

Is St. Augustine worth the trip?

St.Augustine is well worth the trip. Of course there are tourist trap things there, but the historical part of the city and the Castillo de San Marcos are wonderful. The city itself is sometime hard to navigate in. Many of the old streets have been preserved and the city is constantly rerouting traffic (not detours) in an attempt to find the best compromise between preserving the old and keeping modern day traffic flowing. Lots of good seafood to be had also.

I love St Augustine. It's the oldest city in America!!! There is so much to see and lots of characters! Very educational too. Have fun:f_spider:

It's a very cordial little city, with interesting historical landmarks, good food and nice accommodations.

St. Augustine

St. Augustine is a beautiful city and unique in its character and architecture. Many great restaurants, wonderful beaches and is very safe. A great town to stroll in, take a carriage ride, or trailer train. The lightner museum located in city hall is a must IMHO. Also don't forget the fort and the starbuck's coffee shop in the casa monica hotel. Also on the edge of town are two of the largest outlet malls on the east coast. Am I prejudice? Of course-it's my city

I know GIJoe, the original poster, already went and has posted another thread about his experience with some great pictures on here.

I don't know about anyone else so far though.
