• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

sryder vs. deer

Glad you're okay and the Spyder is mostly okay, too. Seems deer are a problem everywhere. I've hit two in pickups but, so far, none on motorcycles. (Knocking on wood.) I've almost stopped riding at night altogether because of deer.

i have two of them. they dont seem to work tho, i may need to move them.you might be able to see them in the 3rd pic. i've had deer stand beside the road and watch me go by:dontknow: one deer and two elk in the way this morning:yikes: lucky i seen them early enough.

Actually, I think ocfire may be #6 on this board to have hit a deer that I know of:
In Sept of 2008, dltang posted of possibly the worst hit that I remember. This was when the Spyder wasn't even out a year yet.

Then in Sept or Oct of 2009, Spyderbitten in Missouri hit one that caused several thousand dollar damage, but he never did post pictures that I remember.

Anyway, as safe as the Spyder seems to be......Be Careful Out There.....
