• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

You're right. They said they'd have it moved out over night and the road would be open soon after.

I lived right below there in Hemet, for 15 years. Great roads for bikes, Spyders or anything with wheels. There are also awesome Jeep roads, single tracks and ISDT type Enduro courses set up all over the foothills and mountains around Idyllwild. I rode from Hemet to Idyllwild on my Dualsport/ adventure bikes using jeep roads a couple of times per week! A beautiful area full of Deer, Mountain lions, Bear and Rattlesnakes.

And....Big Horn sheep. Which are every bit as unpredictable as deer according to a friend of mine. He survived. The K1600 and big horn didn't.

Used to know the fire trails well. Was CDF stationed in San Jac back in the mid 60's and hauled water on many of them. Agree, it is "beautiful country".

Yikes...!!

Gives new meaning to "Falling Rocks"...:roflblack: is a bummer for those needing that stretch of highway. ..:banghead::banghead: that is a big chunk of rock to get out of the way. .

Could be worse...

The guy sold this one on TradeMe (our version of eBay with the following advert):
For sale 1 owner 25 - 30 tonne landscape feature (answers to the name Rocky) ...

He is in pristine condition (just a little bit of concrete dust). Suitable for garden feature, or as in our case a magnificent addition to your living area.

Rocky will enhance your "indoor outdoor" flow considerably, especially if you load him in through the garage roof like we did.

Sorry, but we are unable to deliver Rocky but would be happy for you to pick him up and roll him away (please mind our neighbours when you do) :-)

Highest bid (should there be one) gets personalised photo with Rocky (when cordon lifts) and of course a wonderful addition to your home.

On a serious note: ALL proceeds will go to ChCh Earthquake Relief Fund. :-)

I was just up there on Saturday, but turned around just past 243 on 74. There was a lot of people playing in the snow. I hope nobody was hurt.
