• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This was kinda covered some in some other threads, but lets post some suggestions for SpyderWeb USA. Then once we get them all, if we have over the 10 asked, we can do a poll and choose the top 10.

Hope to be able to move on this by the end of next month. Thanks for keeping it going, I think it will be a lot of fun. :doorag:

Amicalola Falls] Georgia's Dragon - The Suches Loop Brasstown Bald are about 1 to 2 hrs. from my house. Dahlonega is a good place to stop. They have some nice shops, good food, and real nice people. Another good ride is to Sky Valley, GA then head north to The Highlands, NC. for some nice water falls (one water fall you can drive under) and the Highlands has a great ice cream shop. I'll bring maps to the Jan. 2012 meeting.

Yes, please bring them on Saturday!!! Anyone else that has any sugguestions, bring them as well.

Something to think about for 'confirmation'

Where on a route should a picture be taken for confirmation. Think of the "Rocking Chair" for one of the MO rides. Or "Bridal Veil Falls" in SC.

Brasstown Bald would be a pic in the parking lot with the peak in the background. The Suches Loop, maybe TWO (now no longer open) in the background.

Just thinking...May not have all of the answers for the 28 Jan meeting but chew on this.

D**n... might have to make a few recon rides. Anyone up for that?

Just a heads up, Callaway Gardens doesn't let motorcycles in. I was there several months back for a Geocaching meeting and saw the signs. I was bummed.
Otherwise, it's a beautiful area. Go see the Butterfly House.
