• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I had hoped to see you all again at SitR but my work schedule has forced me to cancel this year. I wish you all safe travels and GREAT ryding!

Not going to make the trip! My oldest son scheduled his leave for the 2 weeks that this trip is for. He has wanted to go to Wheels Through Time so we (both sons) are going to do it next week.

Got to spend as much time with the Army Tanker when I can, never know when he will get sent back across the pond. He is stationed at Ft. Hood now but is subject to leave anytime due to his status.

Would have been fun, family first!

Holy Crap:spyder2:That's 7600mi in 5 days or 1520mi/day. That's like 5 iron butts in 5 days. I don't see how that could be possible and still be viable. That's about three times as much riding as I like to do in a day. :yikes:

I'll let you know what they look like after they arrive in Eureka for Spyders in the Redwoods. I'll make sure I post a picture or two.
 
Spyder technically ready:
- new rear tire 225/55/15 (Michelin Pilot MX)
- new rear fender support
- replaced actuator McCruise cruise control
Work was performed at WestCoast Powersports in Clearwater, FL by Brent and Ben; parts supplied by Tony Guymer (Australia MotorCycle Cruise Controls).

Not lookin good for me to do the ride. With the new ac unit, pool pump and motor and now other issues, it has pretty much wiped out the recreation fund. This truly SUX. Looks like I am missing all events this year. I sure hope next year is better. :(:(:(
