• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyderfest, Maggie Valley, :spyder2: in the Redwoods, :spyder2: in the Androniacs... I work for the Government, I only get 30 days a year (yeah, yeah, I know the math is off, but add a week of taking care of home "honey-dos" ;)) :doorag:

I think you have created a new IBA catagory. That leg out and back from the Left coast is the equivalent of a pair of Bun Burner Golds. You will have to average 65 mph for 48 hours to do that distance. :yikes:
I trust my Spyder and the mechanics working on her....:2thumbs:

IBA ha ha Iron Butt nothing ... thats a whole ILT (Iron Lower Torso) :roflblack:

Looking forward to seeing you guys at Spyders in the Redwoods!

Hummm... very interesting..... I will now have to replinish my bungee cord selection.

I need to see if an auto pilot can be installed...Any Ideas??

Forrest, you are amazing. You are four years older than I am and I can not imagine taking a trip like this. There is a big difference between what I do, which is to run lots of miles over the course of a year, and what you do, which is to run an average of 65 miles per hour for 24, 36, or 48 hours. What I do is easy. It only requires lots of free time. What you do is extremely difficult. I could not do what you do.

There should be a new iron butt category for you guys.

Hey doc i could let you in on a secrete if you want to avoid i95 over the george washington bridge in new york! when you come up 95 and get on the new jersey turnpike get off at exit 10 its for route 287 north go 65 miles and you will run right into the new york state thruway. you will see once you check it out on the map.

Stay off I-95 Pick up I-81 out from Knoxville takes you right into the New York thruway only way I ever travel north....

Freebob...:doorag:

Thank you for the compliment... Not sure about the 65mph average.. Fuel consumption is high at 90 or so.
That is what I am told.
I do hope that others will join the spyder triangle. It is a ride that I am sure will almost equate to the G&G 9,000 ride, and I think will be more fun.

Forrest, that should be just about enough miles for you to trade in the RTS. What color are you going to get next? :-) :-) :-)

Great, now if they can do NASCAR style oil changes, we will have it made.

Safe travels to you all! Look forward to tracking the trip and updates. To average 65 mph you will probably need to run 80 mph? Drive careful now, ya hear

P.S. Maybe some magic 60 tooth sprockets are the secret?
