• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyders to the Rescue

I have not signed up with the organization yet and would like to know more about them. I would like to hear any stories of those ryders that have been rescued. Details would be nice if possible. Did the rescuer have the necessary tools, equipment, trailer, and time.

Also stories from the rescuers would be nice.

Thanks

I have been contacted several times here in Bryant Arkansas, one person wanted to know what areas to avoid while traveling through this area, one wanted to know where they could get a cup of coffee and good pie, I met them and treated them to coffee and good pie.

So far no emergencies, just good contacts.

I was towed up out of a ditch , where I had impacted a cement culvert after leaving the
road in a hailstorm. First time I had a passenger onboard. Spyder totaled, both ryders okay.
I was "rescued" in this storm, by my neighbor Brian, who has pulled me out, unburied me,
fixed my flat, and many other rescues over the years. I have the best neighbors on the planet.

Rescue

Had a guy call who was on a trip cross country. His rear tire was shot. We changed his tire, sent him on his way. No muss, no fuss: Spyders to the rescue!!
We believe in paying it forward. Anytime we come upon a Spyder in distress, we help. Register and help if you can. Hats off to roger for developing it!

i that no calling it an "organization" is a bit of a stretch. It's a list of volunteers who are willing to be called upon for help. Each offers unique skills and resources. Tire change, hauling, a place to stay, a ride to a hotel, etc. they are a blessing to the Spydering community.
