• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well it looks like we are up to 163 folks signed up to be on the list for Spyders To The Rescue.

If you are not aware of this feature, go to the Home Page here on Spyderlovers.com and on the right hand side you will see spyders to the rescue, if you click on it you will get a list of all the Spyder Owners that are willing to help you if you need assistance when you are in their area.

If you care to join you can also do that.

This list is downloadable to a spreadsheet or to your smartphone or tablet.

I received a call about two weeks ago from someone who was going to be passing thru my town and wanted to know a good spot to stop for lunch, I was happy to help

Has anybody else been contacted to help a fellow Spyder Ryder yet? if so tell us your story.

Not "officially" on the list, but those venturing up my way have not had any problems finding me.

Have garage, tools and one dealer is five miles away.

Not yet..!!

but there is a group ryding down to Cabo crossing at Tecate which is about 20 min. from me so I let them know. Hope they don't need me for more than a visit or information...still here for what ever...

Wish it did not take so long for apple to release apps. The iPhone version won't have this feature.

Is there any way we can edit our contact info?

Tony

Just email me or PM me the changes and I'll take care of it. It would involve each user having a login name an password to edit and the time spend coding that is far more than an edit from time to time for me. I think I've done 3 edits since it was moved to the database.
