• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Two interesting things happened today that made me happy I own a Spyder.
I went for a ride near Denver to the Lariat loop, as I was getting there a group of crotch-rockets passed me and they kind of gave me "the look".
Intermittent rain started to fall as I entered Lariat loop road and, surprise, surprise, the crutch-rockets were turning around, they did not go for it. I think it's not fun to go on a wet, narrow, steep and uneven twisty with a C-R.
On the other hand, me and my Spyder had a blast. The road was not totally soaked and I got into a good rhythm so not even the Nanny woke up to work. Half way up I stopped and met a guy on a big Kawa, he had seen me come up the road and he had a lot of questions about how the Spyder could deal with this wet road. He said he was all stressed out just to get his bike were he was, and more rain was coming our way...
Tonight the wind was blowing well in excess of 40mph where my hotel is, the big Harley King Road parked a few spots away from my Spyder was laying on its side, I did not see it fall but I'm sure the wind overturned it; my RS was unmovable, standing tall and withstanding the strong wind without a problem :)

We have rode through some pretty nasty weather on our Spyders and get a bit of a chuckle when we see all the other bikes huddled under cover .

Poor Harley on its side :(
