I did not. Though only 165 miles from my house it was the longest ride I had taken since my back surgery and I wasn't sure I could make it so I didn't sign up for anything. That said the F3 was absolutely a dream to ride and after a total of 450 miles over four days I felt great. It's a long way from the thousand mile days of my youth but I'm just happy to be out there.

As for pictures, I figure we all know what a spyder looks like around here, so I mainly took pictures of the scenery. The pictures do not do any of this area any justice. I have been going to this area for the past 7 years, and plan on going every year as long as I have health and strength. I have been very fortunate this year. I have been to the Maggie Vally/Gatlinburg area 3 times on vacation this year, and to the Boone area about 4 times (daughter goes to App. State, so that was sort of cheating). I must say, although I do not travel a lot, there is no other place I would rather be.
