• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyders In The Redwoods

Well many folks are packing up and getting ready to head to the Beautiful Nor-Cal Coastal Redwood region for SITR next week. We will be drawing a winning ticket for that brand new Spyder up there and all of you can buy tickets before the drawing on August 20th. Someone will be the lucky winner, and it only takes 1 to win. But if you would like to buy more that's OK! You will improve your odds of winning, and supporting some really thankful kids.

Chupaca, I know you said "last in, first out", here's your chance to prove that theory! Good luck everybody!

For sure..!!

Got a special stash set aside...and if I win you can raffle it off again at another event.....:2thumbs:

Leaving early Sunday morning for SITR and looking forward to some cooler WX. Mostly 108-110 here in the "old Pueblo".

Had a great time there last year.

Jack

Sadly I will miss you all this year so post lots of Pics. I gotta work! And just remodeled the house and I am broke........but I bought 26 tickets! So maybe I will get lucky and win! Have a blast everybody:yes::yes::yes:

SITR ? ? ?

Hi All,
I'm a new Spyder owner (2014 ST Limited) and saw this post. Do you have a club or group from No. California?
Wish I had known about your outing to the redwoods earlier as I just made commitments for that weekend.

Seal Floorboards will be there with "Bells on" . I will have three new F3 SEal floorboards with me. This will be the unveiling of the new F3 FB and I couldn't be more excited. It's SUPER EASY TO INSTALL and as all my Seal Floorboards, it's huge. Only one problem. As many of you know, I have some real physical limitations which make getting down on the ground very difficult. I am asking for a few of my friends to volunteer an hour or two to help me. If you are a customer, I may ask you to assist me in your installation. Believe me, all my Seal Floorboards are very easy to put on and will only take a few minutes. In the past, I have been overwhelmed with kind offer of help. Lets all have fun and.......

Ride in comfort,
John

We plan to attend also, but have questions about the possible group rides with the road closures due to smoke. Does anyone have up to date on conditions? Mike & Teri aka MercerLake 101 south from Florence Or. See you all on the 18th.:D

NorCalBud---Count me as attending! Likely be taking I-5 up and 299 over....but will need to be flexible.

This will give you relatively up to date road info for Cali....

All of our group rydes are off the 101 and I don't see any fires that close to the highway. New fires can start at anytime however. Most of the land near the 101 is cooler and moister than inland. Here is the latest CDF update: http://cdfdata.fire.ca.gov/incidents/incidents_current

New Rydes this year

There will be new Rydes this year too. One up into Oregon as a matter of fact. That is really a pretty one that we made after SITR last year. Have a blast!

Nope

Hi Desert Spyder

Re: Who is going to SITR this year?

You have been pre-empted: http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?83966-SPYDERS-IN-THE-REDWOODS-2015

Jerry Baumchen

We can do anything we want, we don't need any previous threads. I was posting this to remind people of the Spyder Drawing (because that's what I do) had nothing to do wthi who's going, and I have inside information on the event. So sorry I won't see you there Jerry. I love your jokes.

Hi Pirate,

Re: We can do anything we want,
Yes, you can.

Jerry Baumchen

PS) On the joke front, I only do what I can. :roflblack:

PPS) For for the rest of you going to SITR, just look for the old guy with glasses. :joke:

Fine Dinning

Btw last year my wife and I were looking for some fine dinning. I would highly recommend a Ryde into Eureka in the evening and go to Brick and Fire Bistro. Awesome! Would suggest reservation as this is a small place, but the food was Awesome!!!!!! This place was featured on Diners, Drive Inns and Dives....and believe me it was none of those. Very small and quite popular, so call ahead 707-268-8959, YUM:yes::yes::yes:
