• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyders in the Redwoods

Sad panda day for us...

As a few of you know my wife (Sandra) has a disability... Well we had a setback with it yesterday and we will no longer be able to make it to this event. In fact we may even have to sell our RT-S if push comes to shove. But we are trying a few other things first before we do that. :(

That's very sad to hear brother. I've actually been there myself. I'll be very happy to pray for Sandra and your situation. Life often gives us difficult choices, but you sound like a terrific husband, so you will rise to the occasion. It's still a couple of weeks away, so don't get totally discouraged, but at the same time, handle your business bro. We've never met, but you might be surprised at all we have in common... praying!!

God Bless!!

Steve

Sorry for your trials - many of us are dealing with them now, and I hope yours passes quickly and with a positive outcome.

Sorry you will miss SiR, but this is just the first, and remember, you would be welcome, even if you came in your cage….

Hi Doug,

So sorry to hear about your wife. My prayers are with you both. It's all about living life on life's terms.

Be well, both of you,

John

I just purchased my Spyder and would love to be part of this event. I know it's to late to register, but can I get info on when and where everyone is meeting? My brother lives in Eureka. :2thumbs:

18 days to departure…. this will be the first "tour" on the Spyder - roughly 1,600 miles in three days. Looking forward to the ride!

Looking forward to meeting you!! Enjoy that long ride, my butt will not let me do it... LOL.... Actually, I can't take that much time off work, but even if I could, that is a long ryde!

:f_spider: on!!

It's not my butt I'm worried about. It's my back.

Should be a winery up there somewhere. Besides marijuana, California is famous for its wine's and and cheating governor.

You are correct sir ! I would highly recommend a Spyder ride through wine country to anyone that has the time. Its only about 3 hours south of the Redwoods. I will be heading there after the event.

I'm keeping this on the top of the stack! Time is running out for you to attend the Left Coast gathering of Spyders!

Don't miss this chance to meet SpyderGirl and her hard working cohorts!!!

You're on! Last year during the owners rally in Chicago, we had a owner non-event in Morro Bay and had a blast. Went to a couple wineries in the Paso Robles area and a couple bad a** roads to cruise on.

Thank you TJFischer! We need to have more outings like that.

Only two more weeks! :2thumbs:

If you didn't pre-register, don't worry. You're still welcome to come and register in person. :)
