• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyders in the Redwoods Roll Call

Count us in!

My better half and I are going to be there too! We're already scheduled for an Alignment while there to make the most of the rides into the Redwoods. This will be our first Spyder Event and are really looking forward to meeting you all and putting some faces with the names!
Safe Rydes ALL!

The Wife and I are planning to leave Whidbey Island on Wed the 30th. Down I-5 to Portland and spend a day with my brother and family. Out of Portland on Friday, taking it easy on old 99 south to Noti. Sleep somewhere and cut over to 101. Roll into Eureka Red Lion on the 2nd. Rest up for a day and then wave at all of the rest of you as you show up. I learned my lesson after Durango. Get there early enough to rest your :cus: up, so that you are able go on some of the tours that will be offered.

Looking forward to seeing all of you there.

Gary

Anyone interested in sharing a room? I haven't made reservations yet but I don't think I'll stay at the Red Lion unless they're offering a great rate still? AARP rate at Rodeway, which is close to RL, is $89. Then there's Econo Lodge for $59 but reviewers say you get what you pay for, or less.

We are staying at the RODEWAY INN and if you talk to the owner TJ she gave us at $75 per night.Red Lion is right across the street.

Lost coast road

Are you guys going to do the lost coast road from Ferndale through Petrolia to Weott?

to Petrolia

I went on that road about 3 years ago, and it is outstanding…………….almost looking straight down on the ocean at some points. One word of caution, it is very rough unless they have re-surfaced it. It is about 80 miles from Ferndale thru Petrolia and into the Redwoods Park.
