We are hoping to make all three events this year...Spyderfest, Owner's Event and Spyders in the Redwoods...and a few other things to boot. :yes: Erags is hoping to expand on last year's ten week trip...how long can we be gone?...or better yet, how long can we be in a 37 ft RV before we're driving each other crazy! :banghead: Bet it's longer than Holli could take Arntufun! :roflblack:

Made my hotel reservations this evening. This will be only our second long trip since getting our RT last summer (we did an around-the-Olympics trip last fall). We're coming down from the Seattle area. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

We have solidified our agreement with our host hotel the RED LION INN EUREKA. Rooms are available starting at $100 per night which includes tax and the breakfast buffet. Just call the hotel directly to make your reservations and indicate that you are with the SPYDERS IN THE REDWOODS group. They can be reached at (707) 445-0844. If you have already made reservations, just give them a call and get your reservation updated to the group rate.

I was also notified that the rooms have been renovated since last year and include amenities such as a fridge, flat screen TV, etc. Also, for those traveling with their furry friends, the Red Lion is PET FRIENDLY!!

I'm sorry to say that isn't a very good deal. I booked my room last week online and got it at $89/night for a queen, non-smoking room.

oops, I just re-read and realized the $100 rate includes tax and buffet....so maybe I didn't get off so cheap...will call the hotel and get the better rate.

LOL! Yeah, it's a pretty good deal, and it's the best hotel in town. The rooms there are $139 a night and that doesn't include breakfast.
