• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyders in the Adirondacks..Who's going

I registered a while back and never got confirmation but I do get the newsletter sent, have your received the SITA newsletter?

harry

I was just wondering, as this is our first spyder event, do we get any confirmation or do they just have a record of who registered? We registered back in April for the event and supper, but all I had was the charge on my credit card? Thanks in advance. See you all there and safe riding!

NetMinder last year they had a list of all who registered and they checked you off as you checked in, gave you your welcome packets, t-shirts, and name tags. Check in was simple and easy :)

Thanks guys for the replays. I do not receive the newsletter, but would love to. How would I go about getting it? Is it electronic?

It's electronic and I believe when you go to Spydertalk.com you opt to have it sent to you via e-mail through your profile. If you can't do it that way ask on of the admins on the site such as Bob. His e-mail is [email protected].

Catching up to you on your turf! Got to admit im really looking forward to this, I'll proably be on my knees turning wrenches most of the time but by evening, hoping to see some of the local attractions.......and the FOOD, there one things spyder ryders never fail at....KNOWING WHERE THE GOOD FOOD IS!!!!

Yep. And an adult beverage or three for me... Man, I hope it isn't a DRY county!

I'll see if I can find a local hops and barley based favorite!

There will be plenty of adult beverages at the meet and great on Thursday, and lots of places in downtown Lake Placid also. You are going to a very historic little tourest town so bring your love for the 1980 Olympics and your wallet !!!!! I'm leaving in the morning so I get a head start on spending money, so they don't take all yours. :roflblack:

To paraphrase a conspicuously absent, high volume poster and noisy member,,, "I have rat-holed back some cash that the MISSUS doesn't know about!"

if you Michigan and Ohio and anywhere else from the Mid-West folks want to stop in NE Ohio.....we are planning on leaving thursday morning....should make it there easily in one day! let me know...I am literally right off the highway!

See you all there. I grew up in the foothills of the Adirondacks. Scenic, with lots of history to chase. I'm thinking about taking a 400 mile run through vermont on Friday. :)

Steve there is only one place in NY that I know of that is dry, and that is the town that Bob Denman lives in. See you there for sure, getting a shock mounted up.

Plenty of good BBQ at the Tail o the Pup too...:bbq:See you on Thursday. We may trailer to LP as there will be too much stuff for the family to bring:gaah:. Ryde safe...

Safe trip to everyone heading to SITA(and anywhere else of course) and hopefully will catch up with alot of you up there. We are leaving as early as posible thursday morning. Our longest one trip to date.

After 7 hrs of riding on thursday, we will probably chill until friday afternoon before riding again...so if anyone is putting together a ride please post it.
