• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyders in Canada

I spent the last 5 days in Thunder Bay CA. While there I saw 7 Spyders, mostly RS. This is more than I have spotted in the Minneapolis area since I bought my RT in June. Also visited the Spyder dealer while in Thunder Bay. The young lady inside told me she sold 5 Spyders in the last month. There was an RS and a Foot shift RT available for test rides.

I live in Ottawa, a little distance from Thunder Bay closer to Quebec then TB, there are some Spyders here, I have seen about 50 since I have been riding my RT, probably a 50/50 split between RS and RT, I went to a Vintage Rally in Ormstown Quebec 2 weeks ago on my Norton Commando, on the way down there was a line of Spyders that must have totaled 100, a lot of female riders mostly on RS's, the Spyder population in going to explode I think as soon as people start finding how much fun these things are to ride, and safe and easy and FUN the population will change, there is alot of questions about fuel mileage, I must admit I was worried, now I don't give a S*&%, too much FUN!

Bob, if you'd like to see a few more Spyders in your area, come on up to Mora and join us for our monthly rides based out of Caswell Cycle. Our next ride is coming up quickly, August 25th, sign-in at 9am and we take off around 10am. Our rides are usually around 150-200 mile rides with lunch and gas stops and even a few photo stops if the scenery is especially good.

We have a group on SpyderLovers community/group tab above and we are also on facebook under Minnesota SpyderLovers. We would love to have you join the group and come ride with us whenever you can. Hope to meet up with you soon.
