• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyders in Arkansas

We could get some of us together...

We should have a get together there next year room rates are reasonable food great and the riding fantastic

...when we are there in October next year. Stay at Wilhemina Lodge, eat, ryde, sleep, repeat. Some nice roads in that area. I'll be back to see what interest there may be next October.

Initial Issues to Get Over

Cool! Tell Judy to keep at it and don't give up! Jan will love to talk to her when she gets home and walking again. She is still in rehab for another week or so. We plan to make the Polar Bear run on Jan 1st hopefully! Ojisbj at gmail or 512 nine one three 4567.

I broke a bolt head off trying to adjust the right passenger foot rest. Tried 3 hardware stores and Lowes but no luck finding a fully threaded bolt. Also, getting the "low battery" message intermittently even after putting a battery charger on it overnight. Have an appointment at Spyderpops after we get back from traveling in early December. Still trying to register it in AR. It had a KS title. Been to liscense center 3 times and now saying dealer didn't sign off correctly. Dealer said will fix it and pay fine. Couldn't get the GPS to work for more than 10-15 seconds - have a new battery on order. Still haven't figured out how to make the multi-function gauge stuff work. Been a really frustrating process. Did transition Judy's Suzuki M50 to all the stuff off of my old one so I have that to ride until I can get all the Spyder stuff resolved.

:congrats:Big Juice.....:2thumbs::2thumbs: :welcome: Hi OJ.......I see you all are doing Trike Time Arkansas I know you all are enjoying the roads through the Ozarks........Cheryl and I have been putting some miles on our :spyder::spyder: take care and enjoy.

Rob
Hey Rob! Glad to hear from you and Cheryl! We are loving the area we live in and look forward to many rides through this beautiful country. Jan and I are trying to get ourselves healed again and look forward to 2018 and a big riding year. And of course, we are loving our roadsters (I call them trikesters!)!

And to Jim......we look forward to all the rides available up here! We have already been to Mt. Magazine, saw the view and ate at the lodge, what a great place. Haven't been to Queen Wilhemina State Park, but will put in on our radar for a future trip after we get road worthy again. We will be interested in a get together anytime after the first of the year, so keep us in touch with any ideas and time lines..........

John, sorry to hear about all the problems you are having. I encourage you to go to Harvey at SpyderPops and he can get it taken care of. I trust him totally. He has more than taken care of my wife's RT and my F3, that's the only place I will take it.....unless I have to do warranty work, then I don't know where I will take it......

Thanks all for the input and let's keep it up and get a Spyder group going here in the Village.....

I have an appointment for December 12th at Spyderpops. We bought a cable to plug in the GPS that came with the RT and a new battery for it. It doesn't seem to run for more than a few seconds. W took it on our trip to New York so Judy could play with it in the car. After much effort we think it is shot so we are looking for options to replace it. It was a Garmin 660 apparently made for CanAm as the CanAm name is the screen image. I initially thought the "low battery" warning on the Spyder indicated there wasn't enough juice to run it but it doesn't work plugged into the car or computer either. I think the dates for the Missouri Spyderfest have been published - early May. We're thinking about reserving a room. Perhaps others from HSV would be interested in going and getting rooms in the same motel?

What time is your appointment at Spyderpops? We might ride with you or meet you down there, I can always use a hot dog for lunch! Who knows??

We have the Spyder back. Thanks Spyderpops, really appreciated Harvey's help! But we're heading for our lake place on the Minnesota side of the Canadian border now - the last 5 miles by snowmobile. So it will have to wait until we get back.

Always good to here that your roadster is back at home where it should be! Harvey at SpyderPops has always taken good care of us and so glad we have him close by to take care of our service work. Be safe and have fun up there in the NORTH country. We will see you when you get back home......

Hello, we live close to the E. Gate. I have a '14 cognac limited. We are wanting to do some rides this year. We aren't on Facebook. If y'all do a ride anytime soon we would like to go.

Well, hello there, it's been a long, long time.........yep it has since I spent time on this site. Just thought I would check back in to see what's happening. Just got back from the 2024 Hot Springs Spyder Rally, Jan and I worked the registration table on Thursday afternoon and were at the closing ceremony and Dinner. We are still members of the Central Arkansas-US Spyder Ryders and we have reignited our original trike group from 2017, the Trike Time Arkansas Rider Group. It consists mostly of Spyders but has a couple of conventional trikes and even one 2-wheeler who likes to ride with us. We have a couple of new Spyder ryders in our group and I want to get them acquainted with this site as it was a blessing to me when I got my Spyder. So hello to all my old friends who might still be on the site and know that I'm still riding my 2017 F3-L and now have put about 56K miles on it, and it still makes me very happy!
If you are still around "Wishey1", or anyone else wanting to ride, let me know and I will let you know when we are riding (If the weather is good we are riding this Saturday, leaving from the Village on May 25 up to Perryville for lunch.
