• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyders at Universal Studios Florida

This may have been posted before on Spyderlovers but here it is again. While on vacation, at Disney World and Universal Studios, this past week the Marvel super heros ride in on Can Am Spyders. Captian america's has a mount on the back where his shield is mounted. The Spyders are then on display during the day when the Heros are doing "meet and greet" and pictures with the children. Good PR for Can Am.1-IMG_1116.jpg2-IMG_1115.jpg :2thumbs:

Interesting. Have not seen this one before. Also surprised that they have not been farkled up a bit to match the theme.

They need to hire the Farkler (Bob Denman) to upgrade their fleet (with the Missus's permission of course)

Great Idea...

I think this is a GREAT marketing idea all-around. Superheroes ryding in on these adds to the "Transformer-like" mystique of our rydes, and provides mainstream exposure for BRP/Can Am...Win-win all the way around. if you want to get the "younger generation" interested in a Spyder, ensuring a whole new generation of Spyder Ryders, have superheroes drive up on them like this...pretty much the same blueprint Apple used when donating thousands of macs to schools in the 80's.

When the wife was considering a Spyder, some friends said that you can get one of the Universal ones at a great price. And there's hardly any miles on them. But we never got around to checking them out.
