• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ALL OF THE BELOW QUOTES HAVE BEEN POSTED HERE SINCE DECEMBER 2ND. IT IS NOW DECEMBER 4TH.

PLEASE DON'T FORGET - ONE OF THE POSTERS IS ABLE TO CALL "RENEE" AND GET THE SCOOP STRAIGHT FROM BRP

Spoke to Renee at brp, assembly starts next week with a few hundred to be shipped out in the end of December . 13 scared the crap out if brp, on road testing has been going on.
Mine is one of the very first orders in Florida but I won't believe a unit is coming here until I see the cognac in the glass.....
Anxiously waiting and watching for all of you that are going to get the "firsties". A word of caution, they are not delivered until you are sitting on that seat and driving it home. Not holding my breath, but maybe this time will be the charm you are waiting for. As many have mentioned--better to wait and be happy with the product that is delivered. More sauce Bob?
Sticking with my prediction / They'll be here when they get here.. I'm psychic so I'll leave it at that They're not delivered till you drive away...
They have been building them all along it is the shipping of them that has not happened!
Spyder....that is not correct I spoke to Renee at Brp yesterday production ( mass) starts Monday )
I just hung up the telephone and I did not talk to Renee I talked to Cherrie she said, Believe it when the fork lift drops yours off the back of the truck or spears the crate with the forks.
But it sure give us all something to fret about!
Tick... Tick... Tick...

I was at a small dealership in Lancaster, Ohio. The truck just dropped off some new Spyder 2014 models as well as some Seadoos.

Heading to Jackson, Ohio with the remaining 3 Spyders.

These pictures were taken today around 1:00 p.m.

NOW CAN WE STOP TALKING ABOUT CALLING BRP AND GETTING THE DAMN SCOOP FROM RENEE (or any of our other claimed "insiders") ?

The posters who said "THEY WILL BE HERE WHEN THEY GET HERE" were right on the mark AGAIN !! KUDOS to those of you who posted such comments. I like it when someone gets argumentative with someone and says they will BEGIN PRODUCTION NEXT MONDAY and the very next day my dealer has 3 dropped off.. LOL.

As Bob Denman already knows, crates on a truck don't mean squat !!!!!!!!!! Open a crate and show us a RT !!!!!!

RS s and ST s are here in Florida for days already, Assembled and on show room floor.. Doesn't mean squat to us RT guys except it confirms that cognac is beautiful

To show you how focused BRP is on the "right thing", they are having their dealers into Canada for a meeting on Thursday.. guess what the topic is ?? WATERCRAFT!!!

2014 Spyders have arrived in Central Ohio

True, I suppose. 2 of the 3 are already sold. They hope to have the 3rd on display in the next several days or so.

But wise words arntufun. I didn't stick around for the opening of the crates. Heck, I didn't even ask what models they were - I stopped by to shop and chat with my mechanic (on my way to lunch) in downtown Lancaster, Ohio (Birthplace of Civil War General William Tecumseh Sherman).

My real point in all of this is the mish mash of information flowing around expected delivery dates of product to the dealers, including in the last several days with some posters suggesting no real production of 2014 models had even taken place; to vehicles have been manufactured but not shipped; to you will know when they finally arrive and not before; etc.

At the end of the day - apparent reliable sources aren't that reliable and rumors are just that - rumors. It happens every year with "insiders" wanting to share their treasure trove of inside dope and most of it turns out not to be true.

To show you how focused BRP is on the "right thing", they are having their dealers into Canada for a meeting on Thursday.. guess what the topic is ?? WATERCRAFT!!!

BikerDoc - have you ever worked in retail? When I was a kid, my summer job was for a regional department store. They had a central warehouse for all their area stores. I remember unloading Christmas cookies (those Danish Butter Cookies) in June for the following XMAS. You saw my photographs? They were unloading watercraft that won't be needed until late May in the great State of Ohio.

In the meantime - lets discuss something a little more serious ! FSU and Ohio State in the National Championship game? Or will Auburn squeak by OSU in the ratings? LOL

Also going to add--crates of :spyder2:'s don't necessarily contain the elusive 2014 RT's. I guess I am going to adopt the Missouri motto--"Show Me". :roflblack:

Little checking..!!

if you walk up to those crates and read the tag it will tell you whats in it...not that hard..!! All the delivery hooplah is about the RT's they will be along..keeping my fingers crossed for you spyderann...
