• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello all,
I have owned my 2013 spyder sts in circut yellow for just over a year and so far it has Jt,s air filter ,two brothers twin carbon fiber exhaust(no popping or backfires). I also put on the RS front shocks and heavy duty sway bar. I finally got over 2000 miles on her and so far on a 104% day it never went over 5 bars,no parts of me got hot or burnt. Today I put over a 100 miles on her and it never went over 4 bars on the temp gauge, now mind you I drive this thing like I stole It!!!!, I mean I bang the shifter up at 8 or 9 grand and I down shift back down and I am so lucky myspideybabe takes all that I dish out to it!!!! I feel blessed that mine is a good one, cause sometimes I come on here and read someone else's horror story I just wanted to let everyone know that I love this trike . l traded in a 2007 Suzuki M109R limited that was all chromed out ,I just wanted something different and I'm glad I made the move so kudo,s to BRP.
And thanks to this forum because it has taught me more about my bike than my dealer has!!!!

Glad to hear you are liking your :spyder2:. You have good taste in color too.

There was a lot of bad press concerning the 2013's. Since the heat fix on the RT's, most of that has turned to good comments and happy customers. It was a long time coming, but now seems mostly solved.

Good bikes

They really are GOOD bikes. The horror stories are a very very very small percentage of overall sales, just like spyderlovers members are a very very small percentage of spyder owners. I would buy another. ( manual clutch only):roflblack:

Nice review...

good to hear...I'm much the same as you...love it and have no problems. We need more threads like yours...:2thumbs:

just like spyderlovers members are a very very small percentage of spyder owners.
Not really! The 100,000th Spyder was delivered at Spyderfest last spring. There are over 18,000 SL members so that's approaching 20% of the owners, not a small number IMO. Now I will concede that active SL members is a small percentage of all Spyder owners, but I wouldn't say very, very, small by any means!

Glad to hear that it has been a VERY good year for you!!
Here's hoping that there will be many more just like it for you!!

I also have a 2013 STS SE5 in circuit yellow, I have only had it since mid-May this year and I have not done a bunch of changes to it. The owning experience thus far has been great!
I did do the BajaRon sway bar and billet links, what a difference that has made in the handling! I love riding my Spyder and look for ways to extend my rides whether I am just running errands or out goofing off just riding around. These are great machines and so much fun to ride!!
Y'all ride safe out there!:spyder:
