Just saw this this morning. spyderrally.com
This rally is being organized for may of 2014 in South Carolina. not much info on their website maybe on their facebook page. Anyone else heard about this? :dontknow:

Could be a "money maker" for the organizer.................

If they sell all their sponsorships (for cash) the total is $217,000 and that doesn't include any registration fees from Spyder Ryders. Hey Len and MoGang, glad you're not greedy, Spyderfest is a "bargain" for all attendees and vendors. Keep up the good work!!!

Think they've set the date for 2014 so they have time to "run the flag up the flag pole" and see if it'll fly before they make any really commitments.

It would appear that somebody has seen a moneymaking opportunity, and as has been stated, looks like they are gauging interest prior to too much commitment.
If I were to partake in this, I would prefer a June/July date though.

This also corresponds to around the time that Spring Bike Week takes place each year (2nd week in May). Which means it would not just be :ani29: related events going on as well.
