Great video! I love what people are doing with drones.
I had a drone fall from the sky into my yard about a month ago. No one ever showed up to claim it. I read that this model does not have a fail-safe and if it flew out of range of the controller, it would just keep going. The owner can't be happy, it's a $400 machine. I found a controller and charger online to buy but I have yet to go down that road and try to fire it up.
Is there an FAA or AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) number anywhere? I'm sure the owner would like to get it back; once a multi-rotor flies away, there is no way of knowing which way it went and how far, so he (or she) probably looked and looked for it with almost zero chance of finding it. If you wouldn't mind PM'ing me a picture, along with roughly when and where you found it, I can put the word out to my RC buddies. Of course, if you want to learn to fly it yourself, you should find a local pilot to help you out.
