• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SpyderLovers will be moving soon

Got the site on the new server now and it's really fast. A little more testing and we can make the swap. :doorag:

Now if I could just get my log-in to remember my user name and password. I can never get it to remember the name but it will remember the password for a week or so and then mysteriously drop it. :banghead: :dontknow: Good thing I have it on a Post-it note on my keyboard. :sour:

I hope the coons don't take it hard to be moving. ;)

If you want to get on Lamont's bad side or see him in a mood that will curl your hair, just leave his office door open and leave when he is not home.

Makes for some great coon pictures but believe me, it isn't worth it!

You probably have your computer set to delete cookies at regular intervals (a good idea) or you are cleaning out your cookie folder from time to time (also a good idea).

The down side to this house cleaning is that the forum is looking for that missing cookie and doesn't recognize you without it. So, until you log in again and get the necessary cookie back on your computer Spyderlovers.com doesn't know who you are.

Me thinks you are right. :agree: I do have my computer set up to get rid of cookies periodically, so that's probably it.

Thanks, Frank
