I apologize for fanning the flames on this one but I was curious as to why someone who placed an order for 20 bucks gets a freebie worth 9 bucks, which adds up to an almost 30% discount, and I ordered $80 on an order and didn't. Made me wonder if I missed something, didn't check a box when I ordered, etc. and being a human being it made me feel left out, not one of the "cool" people, the "in" crowd, I wasn't special.

Cat makes good stuff, I love my shirts, and will be ordering some patches.

Again, I was just curious, and apologize for twisting some tails: I guess I'll just go ride my Spyder and stay off the forums for awhile!

Regarding the Free Spyder Patches.

This is Mark@CAT, we're the company that makes the Spyder patches and shirts you've been talking about. I wanted to clarify the recent thread regarding the free patches that were sent out.

After we completed our first t-shirt production run in September, we were out of a few sizes in certain colors. We had hoped to get the subsequent production run completed within 2 weeks, but it took longer than we had anticipated, nearly 3 1/2 weeks. In the meantime there were a few folks who had placed orders online early for out of stock sizes, and were waiting for product. As a token of appreciation for those who had to wait longer than scheduled, we enclosed a short note and a free Spyder patch. That was all there was to it. In no way did we want to cause any dissension, commotion, or make anyone feel that they were being treated unfairly. I apologize if that's the case to anyone who feels or felt slighted.

On a different note, we have a lot of product ideas planned, including some nice embroidered denim long sleeves, and sweatshirts. Lamont is accepting shots for the calendar so as long as some great pics come in, we'll have fun with that.

In addition to calendar pics, we'd also like some nice shots of your Spyders for some of the upcoming products mentioned above. As many different shots as you'd like to send. They don't have to be super high resolution, but at least a 1 Mg size file would be nice. If we use your Spyder for a product, you'll get the first one off the press.

Thanks for the clarification, I just wish those bragging about their free patch would have also mentioned WHY they got it. Would have nipped this thing in the bud.

As I said in an earlier post, you have great products, filled my order promptly, and I would now add that your customer service is top-notch -
most companies don't care when they make you wait.:2thumbs:

I feel like I should have said something sooner. I was one of the ones that waited a bit (though, IMO, not overly long) for my shirt and loved it when it came. It was really nice of you to send a patch, too, which I love. I really meant to e-mail you privately and thank you for the great service, great response to my e-mail inquiry regarding the order and for the "bonus" patch. I look forward to doing more business with you in the future.
