• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Spyder owner as of August 2010. Is this party open to non-members? Would like to meet other owners but don't want to intrude on your space. Looks like you will be meeting about 1:00 pm, Sat 30th will those who want to take a forest ride meet at Salt Springs earlier?

bookboy first of allwelcome yes your more than welcome to join us. From St. Augustine you want to take 207 South to Palatka. Take 17 N to pick up 19 S. Take 19 S to salt springs just as you come into salt springs you will see the sign for CR 316 turn right. Then follow that RD about 6.25 Mi. you will see a black top Rd on your left. The sign should say NFR 88 turn left the store will be about .25 Mi on right. you are looking about a 1.5 to 2 HRs. Driving. I'm kind of guessing. If you have any questions fill free to call us at home 352-288-0605 To make the early ride you are talking about another hour. If you want to meet for the ride just let us know. John & Carol:clap::yes: We do alot of this:roflblack:

Tomorrow....

So looking forward to seeing everyone.....The Menu, (just to tease everyone else):p Pulled pork, chicken, hot dogs, mac and chez, slaw, chips and homemade salsa, fresh fruit, and my special carott cake. :yes:SEE YA'LL TOMORROW...:f_spider:

LOL, ok, late post, BUT, it so happened to work out that I CAN make the ride.
Will meet you guys there for the pre-ride!

pics coming

We are having trouble with this stupid computer. :gaah: Hopefully we will get the pics up by tomorrow. We want to say a special thanks to moonchaser for hosting the BBQ. The beers weren't bad either. We received an e-mail from bookboy and no one in Salt Springs could give him the direction to the BBQ. Unfortunely he left before reading our directions. He hopes to meet up another time. From Carol & I we had a ball too. Thanks for coming. Even if you went to the other station:roflblack::roflblack: BP, Marathon whatever. Next time someone else choose the station or the place to meet. Glad everone got home safe JC:clap:

Sorry I missed the event.

I regret not making it to the BarBQ. I was all set to go but wasn't able to get enough sleep on Friday night. Insomnia often ruins my plans.

On Friday, I got the bike ready - checked the oil - checked the tire pressure - gave it a thorough inspection. I got everything together for an overnight stay. My plan was to get up at 6:00 am in order to leave at 7:00 am for a 300 miles trip. I expected to arrive between 12:00 and 1:00 pm. After the event, I had planned on going to Titusville for an overnight stay. On Sunday, I would make a social call in Cocoa and then return home in the afternoon. At 4:00 am I was still trying to get some sleep. If I were a little smarter, I would have made the overnight stay on Friday night and gone home after the event on Saturday. I will try to remember this next time.

I was looking forward to meeting more of the Florida Spyder owners. I wanted to see Forrest's new RT and to find out what kind of engine Doc is using now. I have a lot of questions to ask. I hope there is another opportunity - soon.
