• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

spyderlovers invade Mora.MN with a jay cook park video

Larry and Gene made this quick get together and I must say it was a blast, especially for it being 36 degrees and cloudy for half the day.

Butch and Paula did a bang up job with this event and Les at Caswell Cycles is a great guy.

Got to ride with some younger "economically challenged" sportbike guys that worked with paula and Butch. They were pretty good group of kids.

Thanks again to Larry for helping me out and to Gene for talking...... ALWAYS TALKING.

Thanks for sharing the video. Brings back memories. Wish I had a nickle for every time I drove that road.

it is pretty Whoa, I wish I could figure out how to change the title on the post, it just changes it in the post.

It was strange to see spyderlovers up here and still be able to go home that day.

:roflblack:
those mean you can't pass if you are in a car, truck or semi

It WAS a great time...out of the 10 spyders there, 7 of them are on SpyderLovers...it truly was a SpyderLovers event "Up North". And that 9 miles of Hwy 210 thru Jay Cooke State Park is as close to the Dragon you'll get this far north of the Mason/Dixon Line!!!!:ohyea:

A thank you to ButchA2025 for adding additional photos of your ride. ( Album: Fall Color Ride 2011). I very much liked the additional pictures of the Jay Cooke Park and St. Louis River area. It looks like all your group had a very great experience. Wish I could have come back to Minnesota to join you all.

The rest of the story

As I gain on him I slide in close behind an wait my opportune time to pass.

A close look into his eyes shows disbelief that I am making a high speed drafting maneuver to pass him.race 1.jpg

As you can see he is down low to reduce wind drag but he falls further behind.
