Lamonster of Spyderlovers,Reggy of Tricled and myself of Sunbird Cruise &Travel have been in discussion about having a Spyder Cruise as well as a 2 day ryde through The Keys from Ft Lauderdale to Key West. and have held 50 cabins at a knocked down rate on Royal Caribbeans Liberty of The Seas 4 nt cruise 11th-15th Dec.We have balcony cabins @$555.00per person and inside cabins @$430.00per person.These prices include all port charges and gvt fees which total $179.30pp.There are no big Spyder events this time of year and a cruise on one of the top Royal Caribbean ships at a price like this coupled with a 2 day ryde from Ft Lauderdale through The Florida Keys to Key West sounds like a lot of fun..The itinerary of the cruise is 11 Dec board at midday,12th Dec at sea,13 Dec Cozumel,14 DecAt sea.15 Dec arrive back in Ft Lauderdale 7am when Reggy would lead the 2 day trip to Key West.For those who did not wish to ride their Spyder to Florida it would be ok to fly and take the cruise only.Deposit for the cruise is $100.00 per person and is fully refundable until Sept 10th,2014.
We have a group rate at The Rodeway Inn & Suites in Ft Lauderdale situated 2 miles from The Ocean.Hotel has outside tropical heated swimming ,pool,rest,sports bar as well as many other amenities.Rate is $89.99 per night instead of $149 plus tax.This is from the 8th Dec so you may stay 1,2 or 3 nights as you wish.Safe parking for the Spyders will be at the hotel whilst you are on your cruise and is included in the nightly rate.Transfers to and from the hotel to the cruise ship are also included in the nightly rate.
There will be 2 rides prior to the cruise An Oceanside ride to South Beach,and a ride to Everglades National Park,where Airboat rides can be taken.
It is a possibility we might be able to get BRP to put a couple of 2015 models onto the shipProbably Lamont and Reggy would be aboard so seminars on Spyders would be arranged.
Our allocation of rooms is now full.There are balcony staterooms still avaiable which can be pulled into our group.Price is $590.00 per person which includes all taxes and port charges.
I know the various beach clubs in Cozumel so would arrange a day at the beach there.Alternatively scooters or cars can be hired as well as diving or boating excursions arranged.

Our group allocation of staterooms are now sold out.As of today there are some balcony staterooms available at$590 pp and inside cabins at $374.00pp.These if booked can be pulled into the group.The prices can be changed or withdrawn by the cruiseline at anytime so if anyone wishes to join this group of Spyderlovers on this cruise call us at 561-731-2208.
For those not wanting to cruise but participate on the rides there is availability in the hotel in Ft Lauderdale for rides before the cruise as well as the ride to Key West after.

Cindy & I just got our passports in today. I'm really getting excited about the cruise. I think this will really be fun. Especially the thought of riding our spyders in winter AND taking a cruise in absolutely gorgeous weather.

We have not finalised the hotel at Key West yet.The reason is depending on how many we have it will take longer to disembark the ship,We are thinking to leave for Key West about midday.Stop for lunch at Alabama Jacks Key Largo which is good and famous on the water,then onto Marathon in the Keys where we will overnight.One of the reasons to stay there it gives people a chance to cross the famous 7 mile bridge a couple of times that day.It starts at Marathon.We will cross it the next morning anyway.
Next morning an early start to Key West.most of the day in Key West and area heading back to Fort Lauderdale late afternoon.From there people will scatter.
If anyone wants to stay on in Key West for a number of days we would be happy to make the reservations. If heading North the best place to stay would be Florida City which is situated as we exit the Keys and at the start of the Florida Turnpike.
We will be in contact during the next couple of weeks.

We are now not staying in Marathon.The Key West ryde is leaving the hotel in Fort Lauderdale am 9th Dec,staying in Key West the night of the 9th and returning to the hotel in Ft Lauderdale night of the 10th Dec.

We are leaving Louisiana Friday December 5 and heading to Key West. If anyone wants to meet us along we way please pm me. We will get to Key West on Sunday Dec 7th. We are getting there early because we have never been there and wanted to spend a little extra time relaxing.

We will be leaving the hotel about 9am.Making lots of stops en route arriving in Key West between 3 and 4pm.Everyone is free to do as they please for the rest of the day.
Anne I plan on riding one of Reggys Spyders.We do however have a Goldwing,a BMW and a Yamaha plus all all the Spyders ryding.

8Dec 6pm Meet at Marina84 Grill&Bar Rodeway Inn,Fort Lauderdale to meet fellow Spyderlovers.
9Dec 9-30am Depart Rodeway Inn for Key West.5-6 hour ryde with stops and lunch stop at Bass Pro Floating dock.
We will see a Key West sunset at Key West Pier Stay Silver Palms Hotel.
10Dec 9-30am departure with stops lunch at Alabama Jacks,Key Largo on the water then back to Rodeway Inn,Ft Lauderdale.
11Dec 10-30am from hotel departure to RCCL Liberty of the Seas.Ship sails 5pm.
12Dec at Sea.
13 Dec. Cozumel.
14Dec At Sea.
15 Dec Arrive Ft Lauderdale,disembark.Event over.
We have a nice group going.Spyders are coming in from various States.

The Ryde is no problem.We can get more Ryder's into the hotels in Key West and or Ft Lauderdale.The cruise at this time has some staterooms available but is subject to any availability at the time we are making the booking.We can then pull it into the group.
