• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SpyderLovers Banner Run!

So, um...where are the other eleven bears?!

Here is the updated Google Maps link to Mackinaw City. Banner run map. We must have filled up the limits of Google Maps as I tried to input our route from Mackinaw City back to our house using the route we took instead of the route that Google Maps wanted us to take and after about 5 course corrections, it quit accepting them. I'm adding a second Google Maps link that details our route from Mackinaw City back home. Beautiful scenery and mostly two lane highway, almost no expressways. Second map. With two gas stops, a warmer riding gear stop and a lunch stop, it took us about 9 hours to get home. The map shows only 247 miles but it felt like 400. (An enjoyable 400.) :D

Actually honey, your map posted in the "second Map" show 327 miles and 10 hours and 21 minutes home. So, I guess we did pretty well.

:opps: So it does.... I was just looking at the bottom mileage. I guess we were really doing pretty good if we did a 10.5 hour drive in 9 hours with probably 2 hours for gas, food, and redressing. :2thumbs:

I'm off work tomorrow and would love to go:2thumbs:. To bad my spyder:gaah: is in the shop again (shifting Problems) ('08 SE5). It's been there over a week. Hopefully they will get it fixed this time. Have a great ride I'll be thinking about your ride.

You could come in a cage, you could meet, greet and eat with us and sign the banner. We promise not to shoot you.

I was hoping I would be up to going, but I'm not quite up to speed, or long days, yet. Have some fun for me!

We are getting ready to leave for Cleveland in just under an hour or so. I think we may be getting wet on this trip. Hey if Jeuchler and his "lovely bride" can brave the elements for the sake of the banner then so can we. I hope the border police don't stop us at the Ohio border though..:roflblack::roflblack::ohyea:

I hope you remembered to take your GET ACROSS THE BORDER card for entrance into OH. If you forgot, you can pick one up at those Starbucks kiosks at the turnpike service areas. :joke:

Hope you rYde safely AND dry.

---leo---

P.S. Those border agents are suckers for coffee and donuts.
