The state police will also be getting them here in WV. The dealer I went though was the one that got the bid on it. He told me that State Police will start getting them later this year and certain city and county police will get them next.

I have a motorcop friend who has ridden my wife's GS several times and loves it. He is trying to convince his department that they should seriously consider the Spyder.

I think it is cool they are getting spyders but the quote above does not add up to purchasing a Spyder IMO. Since the Spyder has very little ground clearance and almost as wide as a car. But anyway, I'm still happy for them.
