• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyderhaters Forum

After you've been here a while you'll notice the complaints come and go in cycles. Right now we're at a high. If it really depresses you that much, take a sabbatical and periodically check back in.

Can't say much else or better on the subject. We are hearing a lot of the same stuff over and over--but the SL site is here so that we can talk :spyder2:, good and bad. Glad that I am one of the "lucky" ones, but I do tend to stick up for those with legitimate, ongoing issues.

I agree with the legitimate ongoing issue statement, but we also have a few whiners on here that will never be happy

What kinds of toppings do you like to put on yours??

It's almost becoming depressing to log onto this forum lately. I truly feel for all the 2013 owners who have a machine with heat issues, and I've heard many of you voice your concerns a time or two on here. I don't want to be disrespectful to anyone's opinions, but there is this small handful of people who vent about the same issue day after day after day.

Dear Scott, would you like us to put happy or sad faces on the thread titles so you know which to read? Seriously if reading about real Spyder owner's issues with their machines bothers you then I suggest you go elsewhere. This is real life and it isn't always puppy dogs and rainbows.

:roflblack:

But...
Why are you trying to beat OR annoy them?
I'm from the part of the World that still believes that you can catch more flies with honey, than you can with vinegar...
Work WITH them; solutions will come even quicker!

BOB

it was meant as a joke because i am trying to deal with them. loosing the bike tuesday for god knows how long proves it, i just found the picture funny

You all think its fun now with all the 13' issues...wait til' all the 14's are on the street! Brand new motor, brand new gearbox....:roflblack:

Believe it or not--I have recently started trending towards plain ice cream without a lot of doo dads on it. Is there something wrong with me? The last French Vanilla I had was pretty darn good.

I have a '13 ST-S that has had it's share of heat issues that are now under control thanks to my dealer and BRP. But as DrewNJ just said, what if the 2014 RT's end up having some serious issues? This time next year there could be a lot of posts from '14 RT owners about problems they are having. I truly hope not, but with a new engine and tranny who knows?
