Spyderfest question

This will be my first year at Spyderfest. I was looking at the events schedule and noticed every day at 9:00am it has Passport routes open up. What is that exactly?

I hope to be rolling in sometime Thursday morning. I was planing on being there Wednesday afternoon but I could only get a room at the Comfort Inn for Thursday night - Sunday.

they have passport books for sale they have to be taken around to the varous locations and be stamped and returned and prizes are drawn from the completed books

The Passport rides are definitely a must do. Do them at your own pace and in any order you want. Always nice roads to ride and fun places to stop at. The passports don't get turned in until Saturday evening so you will have plenty of time to do at least one of the routes.

It's similar to a 'poker run'. Len hates that term, so I'm sure I'll hear about it. Passport books will be for sale at registration and after. Basically, you do the passport ride and get stamped at each stop. Once you have a fully stamped book, you'll enter it into the passport raffle for some really nice stuff. You can't win if you don't play " )
