• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Spyderfest Magog 2012

:roflblack:........so was the prayer in "French" and did the big guy understand do you think? Or perhaps he didn't speak french, maybe just English?

HI Lamont,

Thank you for sharing your photos. The lake really looks nice and that big inflatable RS...WOW your bike next to it looks like a toy!

Have fun! :yes::)

Nice pics Bro. Two things, those are some big steaks :2thumbs: and yes, I would have had to let those two young ladies sit on my RT as well :ohyea:.

Happy to see he's looking at the 'big steaks'. Yeah, he would probably invite them over to sit on the Spyder. No problem, as long as he looks and doesn't touch!!

Onsite at Spyderfest Magog 2012

It was a great sunny day in Magog. We arrived the night before, drove in early in the morning at the site and were greeted by Lamont while I was still on my Spyder! This was my first encounter with Lamont.
My wife Debbie and daughter Shana also enjoyed the day and yes, Lamont took a picture Debbie on his Spyder!
It was great having the chance to chat with Lamont and we hope to meet him soon again.

We participated in the parade where 280 Spyders took on the street (on a total of about 500 Spyders onsite today).
Nothing was stopping us, no light, no stop, maybe just one spyder who had a hiccup... :-)

Shana took about 400 pictures before during the parade, I will load more of them shortly into an album.

Got a ton of pictures to load but here's a short video with SpyderDan. He really does a great job mixing with the people. :doorag:

We had a really great day yesterday. The event didn't really kick off till Saturday but when it did it kicked off with a bang. There were Spyders everywhere and lots to see and do. It was a totally different flavor than Spyderfest in the US but not in a bad way, just different. It's funny how you can cross that imaginary line we call a border and this can be so different. I really hope we can have a good showing from the US next year and some of them will make the trip to our Spyderfest. In the end it was all about the people and the Spyder and the quality was there in both. Had a great time and plan on doing it again next year. :doorag:

Diane and Joe. These folks are great and made my visit to Magog special. We haven't known each other that long but we are like old friends and will be for life I'm sure. Thanks for hanging out with me and helping me with the language. Love you guys

This guy won the show in Magog two years ago when I was here. Not sure how he did this year.

The province of Quebec is a significant part of what makes our country such an awesome place. In my experience French Canadians are just fantastic folks that want you to feel at home and enjoy your visit. Are there exceptions.....for sure but these people are not unique to just this part of the country.

Thanks for the pictures Lamont makes me want to mark this one on the calendar for next year.

Can't be all bad they did give us the Spyder afterall.............

bruiser, you must know by now you are NOT going to sneak that by a Jersey girl...:roflblack:

john

You got that right!! I just let him think he's getting away with it, but after 32 years together, we know each other too well. And, yeah, Jersey's got something to do with it!!

Thanks, Lamont, for getting all of these pictures to us. We're really hoping that when Bruiser finally retires, we'll be able to do more of the different 'fests. Enjoyed looking at all of the fun and events.

Great pics and videos Lamonte! I will surely plan ahead for next years event. It looks like it was a trip worth taking. Actually, it would of been only a two hour ride for me to get there. I'm glad that you had a great time! Again, thanks for posting and sharing the pictures!
