Rather than hijack Lamonster's thread I thought I would post a new one.
My pictures are not as good, I just took random snaps, you can see the Album here.
I still have to off load the go-pro and sort out the video.
What can I say other than this was one fantastic weekend, the weather was unbelievably perfect, hot but not humid. If you where there, you may have seen me, I was the one on the Spyder.
Magog is a really nice place, worth a visit on it own let alone for a Spyderfest. Everyone was extremely friendly in and about town as well as at the event. Language was not an issue at all and I had no communication problems.
Did a couple of the tour rides, it was nice to get a tour around a location you know nothing about, both times I had some one explain in English about the locations. I took part in the Guinness Book record parade, it was a short ride around Magog, even in the blazing heat it was still enjoyable.
I saw lots of Sypders with the VTC floorboards and I have to say there expensive but look like they belong, I will be saving for a set. I have the seal floorboards and they got a lot of attention, no one had seen them before and a lot of people where very interested in where I got them. I hope I explained good enough for them to find John here.
I spoke with Reggie and had the red/white fender LED added to my Spyder and swapped out the fender marker lights for the brighter ones. I wanted a halo kit and the 3rd/4th brake light set but they where still out of stock.
My baker Air Wings have not arrive so I did not get chance to test them, but I did use my Airhawk-R pad and that saved my butt. Just allowing the air to circulate around the seat is worth it just alone.
I would recommend this event to everyone, don't worry about the language its not an issue, I will be returning next year.
sorry for short note but rather tired from the trip home.
