• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyderfest ... How excited are you? ... I'm so excited that ...

  • I asked my niece about staying with her on the way there. In April. She doesn't have a clue what she'll be doing in April, but I have to get everything lined up now.
  • I've proposed ryding there with two different parties, thou, logistically, only one is possible.
  • I've told one of the possible traveling parties the best route, though I've never been that way and they have.
  • I've proposed Ozark, Mo. camping ideas to Pitbull, even though I've never been there.
  • I've ordered a new camera, justified by camping instead of hotel lodging.
  • I can't stop planning (obsessing), and if I do, I'll go crazy until April 23.

Janet & I know that feeling well!
We bought our RT in October of 2011, after seeing all the excitement and posts about Spyderfest a year ago, we made reservations for Spyderfest 2012. We enjoyed it so much, we ended up going on the SITO (Spyders In The Ozarks) ryde this last fall for a weekend in Branson. We've been so taken with the folks who make up MOGANG, and of course Len, that we're helping out this year! After Spyderfest, life will NEVER be the same...and the Good Lord willin' and the crick don't rise, we'll never miss one!!
So, while we're all wound up and trying to make April come next week by an act of will  ...drop us a note and take a ryde to KC some weekend...I'm always looking for good reasons to fire up the smoker!:bbq::bbq:

It sounds and looks like you have been bitten by the :ani29:fest. You could do a daily countdown to help pass the time :roflblack:

I feel your pain....did the same on my 1st....spyderfest and Owners event.....keep the motivation going...please share...some of the others may need a boost

It's OK to be excited about Spyderfest ...........but you better pace yourself and let it build gradually. It's still a ways off!:roflblack:
